  • What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data that websites store on a device. Cookies can improve visitors’ browsing experience because they help websites remember preferences and understand how people use different features.

    Types of cookies

Essential - Websites can’t operate properly without essential cookies. These cookies include ones that enable users to log into secure areas of a website and use a shopping cart. These cookies do not track any personal data of visitors. You can disable these cookies in your browser but websites you visit may not work.

Analytics - Analytical cookies measure how you use a website to help a company improve its website experience. Google Analytics (GA) cookies are one of the most common analytics cookies set by websites. GA cookies collect anonymous information, including the number of visitors to the site, unique visitors where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.

Marketing – Cookies or any other form of local storage required to create user profiles to send advertising, or to track the user on a website or across several websites for similar marketing purposes. Working with approved advertising partners, companies use these cookies to design and deliver relevant content to you and measure the effectiveness of these advertisements.

Functional - These cookies let companies save the choices you make and some of the information you provide when browsing a website. They don’t track your browsing activity on other websites. Without functional cookies websites may not work reliably. For example, functionality cookies can be used to allow video playback or remember a user's region.

StubbsCDesign.com and ChristopherStubbs.me is hosted on Squarespace. The Squarespace Help Centre publishes a full list of cookies that Squarespace sites use to enhance the user experience.
